Christmas Activities 2010

What a busy an exciting Christmas it was this year!! I have no idea where to start.. How about a quick run through our December adventures. The weekend after Thanksgiving Erik and I took the boys to the Gaylord Texan to spend the night and go to ICE, featuring "A Charlie Brown Christmas". The boys had started watching the Charlie Brown movies the begining of November and absolutely fell in love with them! We had a wonderful time on our overnight trip!

Hagen and Cooper designed there own gingerbread men. I think Cooper may have eaten more than he put on his cookie!
They also got to visit Santa's workshop and help the elfs!
And....took a ride in santa's sleigh

The next morning we visited the ICE exhibit.

The week before Harper was born, Erik and I took the boys to "Build a Bear" to build a Rudolph. We had dinner at Jason's Deli and topped off the night by visiting the Christmas Light park in Athens, which was beautiful and the boys absolutely loved it!

You will notice that Cooper is holding a Rudolph in a polka dot dress. Well, Cooper being himself and not giving in to peer pressure chose what he refers to as "A girl Rudolph" also known as "Clarice". This photo is the boys posing with their new friends on Christmas Eve.

We also were fortunate enough to have a last minute visit with Santa. The boys babysitter that kept them while I was still working full time, "Mrs. Sonny" invited us to her Christmas party where the boys visited with Santa.
Cooper has just asked Santa for his Christmas wish... A Cinderella Castle and a Belle Doll!! He is his own person for sure!
Hagen asked for a little more masculine item.. football pads and a new helment!

On Dec.15, we were so excited to attend "A night in Bethleham" which was put on by our church's team kid ministry. There where live stable animals, Baby Jesus, crafts and snacks. Such a fun time!

Dec. 16, all presents where delivered for the Angels on this year's Angel Tree at church. We helped around 38 children this year, an I am so greatful to everyone who participated through giving and prayer! Thank you all so much! What a blessing to our area children.

We had such a wonderful Christmas season, topped off with an early Christmas present, a little girl. Christmas Eve/Christmas Day post soon to come!
