Flag Football begins...

It is March and our second season of flag football has begun. This year I nominated Erik to coach, but really it is a joint effort between all the dads. It is so great to see them all out there! Hagen is really loving football and really is focusing better this year.

Before the game begins..

Warming up..

Getting ready to snap the ball.

Nanny and Harper cheering Hagen on..

Aunt Blaire and Cooper cheering for the Packers.

Erik and his coaching skills at work;)

This is sure to be a great season for the boys.

Boy's Day Out..

February 23rd, Hagen and Cooper had one of the best day of their lives. Let me just say I have one child that wants to hunt animal every chance he gets and one little boy who would have about 12 living in a cage in his room. I have said this a million times day and night, day and night. Erik took the boys to Terrel where the area wild turkey association was holding a youth outdoors/hunting day. Hagen got to participate in many obstacles and shoot different types of guns, there where prize drawings, hot dogs and bounce houses. While Hagen was hard at work, learning about hunting, Cooper made a few new canine friends. Yes he fell in love with some labrador retrievers.

Taking aim...

learning about the dogs.

Cooper fell in LOVE with this little puppy, her name was Belle.

What a great day the boys had, they could not stop talking about it. I know they look forward to next year!

Happy Valentines Day 2012

Smooches!
Valentine's Day is here....

The adorable cookies I bought the kids from my favorite cookie place, Cookin Cousins. I also got some for Hagen's kindegarten class.

Cooper informed me he did not want cookies to take to his class, but cupcakes...
So here they are, his heart cupcakes.

Later that afternoon, we headed to the school for Hagen's Valentines party. For this party the kids feasted on Mcdonald's happy meals and an ice cream sundae bar.

Earlier that week the kindergarten classes had gone to the nursing home to sing a few Valentines songs to the patients there. At the party they gave an encore performance to the parents. This is Hagen's teacher Mrs. Busby leading the kids.

Ok...so singing is not really Hagen's thing.

The infamous Chloe.

Ryder.

Cameron.

Austin.

Harper enjoying the party.

Hagen so excited about the ice cream bar.

Hagen so proud to have his little sister at his party.

That night Erik and I enjoyed a great meal at 4 Winds with the Pophams. I love 4 Winds!

January a BIG month for Harper.

January, 21st Harper turned thirteen months old, that week she also started walking. Yeah! What a big girl. The next week, she became my weaned big girl. Yes, very hard to believe but she had such an easy time it really only took about three days and I think it hurt me more than it hurt her. She is such a little girl now, she carries a doll and brushes the dirt off her hands, I love watching her grow.

So Behind....

So if you can't tell by now, I am blogging about December in April, I am so behind I do not see any way to catch up. So I have developed a plan! I am going to do my best to summarize January, February and March, while blogging about the events I actually have pictures for, and then I will start fresh with April 2012.

New Year's Eve...2011

Ok, no pictures...:( Not sure why. But what a fun New Year's Eve night we had. The Capehart's came over with their boys Jace and Grant to help us count down to the new year. We had a great meal of steak. black eyed peas, fried cornbread, mashed potatoes and banana pudding. The boys played the Wii all night, having their on little tournament and well the adults had quite the spades game going on. And of course Cooper provided many entertaining moments for the evening. We all watched the ball drop and toasted the new year with our sparkling white grape juice. What a fun night.
I am wishful for a great 2012

Christmas Day 2011

JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD HAS COME, LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING....

Merry Christmas, even though I am currently blogging about this in March! Christmas morning we awoke and Santa had come!

This has got to be one of my favorite Christmas morning pictures ever! He was so excited. As you can see he was explaining to me in detail what he had just received from Santa!

He was so excited he received that deadliest catch lego set he had wanted for a year, some new arrows for his bow, and life would not be complete without a new pair of camo coveralls!

Cooper our sleepy head making his Santa discovery..

Life would not be complete without his Scooby Doo Haunted Castle. He has become quite the scooby fanatic and he was soo excited.

Santa did not forget Harper1

Harper's first Cabbage Patch doll. Can I just tell you this was so exciting for me to watch. Growing up in the "Golden Age" of the Cabbage Patch Kids, yes I was that little girl with the Cabbage Patch doll, the playpen, the swing, diaper bag etc. I think I may have even got one the first year that they came out due to the fact that my grandaddy worked for Sears and was able to snag me one in the craze! I have sniffed this doll a 100 times, and wow that smell brings back memories. Of course, I am writing this post months later, so I can tell you Harper carries this baby all around the house and pats it on the back, just like a good little mama.

Looking through her stocking.

After a wonderful Christmas morning, we headed to church for a beautiful Christmas Day service. After church we returned back to our house to exchange gifts with my family and Erik's mom, KK.

Cooper wasted no time tearing in to his gifts.

Pops helping Coop build his batman station.

Hagen not quite sure where to start.

Harper playing dress up with some new clothes.

I do believe this was Harper's favorite Christmas dress. Her chair she received from Nanny, she loved it!

What a wonderful day we had celebrating the birth of our Savior! Merry Christmas!
