Harper's 4th Birthday!

Our little princess could not have been born at a busier time of the year, December 21st.  However, I have done my best to celebrate her birthday as normal as possible.  Saturday morning December 20th we celebrated her big 4 with nothing else but a Frozen party!

Brother and Sister ready for the party.

The Elsa Cake.  My friend Nikki made, it was so good and she is sooo talented!

The Cake Table, complete with Harper's favorite and requested Birthday food, "Pigs",

The cookie decorating tables ready to go, complete with Elsa crowns for the girls and Sven antlers for the boys.  I made frozen aprons for everyone with their initials embroidered on them.  There are also a few dozen snowflake cookies on the table ready for decorating.

Harper and her friends ready to decorate.

The big kids are ready too,

Brennan practicing her kindergarten teacher skills helping Lana decorate.

Too good not to eat!

Such a happy girl.  We love this little one to pieces and are so glad God blessed us with her.  Her little "Sassy Princess" self has brought a whole new dynamic to our house. She makes me smile everyday!

After cookie decorating, the kids played pin the nose on Olaf, which Cooper colored for me that morning.  I love my little artist,

Harper patiently awaiting present time!

Nanny and Pops brought Harper Isabelle, she was so so so excited.

What's a party without cake? Waiting to blow out 4 BIG candles.

with a little help from daddy.....

After the party, we headed to Athens for a dress rehearsal of The Nutcracker, she was making her debut as a Snow Angel and was so excited.  This girl does not know the meaning of stage fright!  A very busy but special Saturday.

Parties, Parties, and More Parties

Friday morning was Christmas party day here at the Tijerina house.  Let me just say I was not thinking about attending Christmas parties when I decided to have three kids in five years.  It was an early release day at the school, so the parties were morning parties.  So thankful for my sister Blaire aka Aunt Bobo, who volunteered on her day off to come to the kids parties with me to help out.

My sweet and handsome Cooper.

Cooper and some of his buddies.

Ninja Turtle chapstick!

This little sticky hand made his day! This may be the best Christmas gift he received.

Hagen and his best friends! Cayden and Ryder.

His gingerbread box.

His ornament from Ms. Stokes

Ms. Stokes passing out her ornaments.

Opening Hagen's gift.

He loves Ms. Stokes!

After the boys' parties we headed down the hall to Harper's classroom, but not before we stopped for a quick photo in front of the Christmas tree.
Aunt Bobo, Hagen and Cooper.

Harper and her friends waiting for the party to start, after the party was Polar Express, so the girls were ready in the pajamas and the hot chocolate was warming.  We were in charge of supplying that, so of course we brought red cups, red chevron straws and peppermint marshmellos, what could be better?

Harper, Annabelle and Claire. AKA" her BFF's"

Sweet Friends!

I love how the home center had a Christmas wreath!

They started the party off by walking to the other classrooms and singing carols to the other classes.  I think that all Santa should have purchased for these kiddos is a set of belles, they loved the belles.

They are all such good friends!

After the parties, we headed home with Hagen's friend Cayden in tow, to start baking and preparing for Harper's Birthday Party the next day.  I worked on things for the upcoming weekend for hours, and I am SO TIRED by the end of this day.

Elves and Pirates....

Tuesday, Dec. 16th the 3rd and 4th graders put on their yearly Christmas Musical, A Pirate Christmas.  I have to say I am not a huge musical fan, but I loved this one! I mean really loved it.. It was so cute.  The students spent the whole day practicing at the high school and were ready to go that evening.  Hagen does not like to sing even though he has a beautiful voice, so I was shocked to hear him softly singing some of the songs at home that afternoon before the play. To sum the story up the Elves teach the students how to give.  Some of my favorite photos from the night.

Hagen making his debut as "Sleigh Dragger".

Rickey and his pirate costume was so cute, and I thought the pirate ship was amazing.

Hagen making his speaking debut as the "small elf", he did great!

Singing loud and proud.

No Elves would be complete without Santa or in this case (Whitebeard).  Hagen's classmate Austin did a wonderful job.

A handstand walking elf. Hagen's friend Carson.

Dancing reindeer.

Our neighbor Luke and friend Trent waiting for their parts.

After the program we headed down the hall to the gym and watched the Boys Panter Basketball team earn a win over Emory/Rains.  A great start to the Christmas Season.
